TBSS Going Back Together

The TBSS is going back together after being apart for several different projects at the same time. I completed the Fuel System Upgrade, Nitrous Inlet (capped off for now) and will be testing the first Production L92 Intakes. I had everything polished up and started reassembly today. I should have it running by Friday or Saturday so long as I don't run into any obstacles. I will also be evaluating some converter and shifting changes.

Worked on it some more yesterday after getting back from ARP for some more custom fasteners that were needed in Polished 12 point Stainless.

I need to finish a few more projects and then I will start on the rest of the Nitrous system. I plan to run a progressive shot with a stand alone fuel system.

Omigawd!

I want to know what kind of tires you put on this beast, 'cuz I want to buy stock in that company!!

Sure is pretty - would love to see it in person - maybe in the fall.

Got to go now - out to vote on SSR's in the Penticton Beach car show. I'll tell MikeinAZ, Blue Thunder et al about your posting.

Hey Joe, love the pictures. Some awesome polishing and assembly work. The TBSS will need wings next! One of these days I will get down to Carlsbad for a visit. I keep saying that, but one day I'll show up......LOL. Richard.

No, not yet - The shop is real busy right now and Dana wants to make sure there is enough room in the shop to keep the SSR safe over night if it's required. I should have it back before next weekend. He's a little concerned about the belt installation. At least we now know what happened to the connector on the sensor - Thanks for all of your help !
Thanks for increasing the - Drool Factor - on this site.

So why don't we just rename this forum something like "Joe's Latest". Hey Joe, thanks again for the tune. I 've had some real fun with the R since you did your magic.

I am still trying to decide how I want to set it all up. I want a progressive hit that I can program and dial in to maintain at least a little traction. Right now I have a solid 16 psi of boost with a small spike to 17 right before the shifts. Whenever I hit the go pedal, this thing comes unglued on the street.

I was wondering what is the latest on the 427 SSR did you ever get the rear suspension so it would hold up to the power?

The BMR Rear Control Arms fixed the problem with the rear suspension unloading on the launch.

We will have some new things going on with the SSR here in the next couple of months. Stay Tuned!!
