tire question

quick question about tire ratings... are Z rated tires necessary for the ssr's?
can you get comparable performance with a lower rated tire?

i ask simply because my 04 isnt going to the track. just used as a daily driver, albeit sometimes at higher speeds than the posted limit..

only mods to it are the cold air kit and a diablo performance tune.
definitely not breaking any speed records with it, but wanted to see if anyone has tried a lower rated tire.

thanks
joey

speed rating

Hey Joey, you gonna be going 168mph? An "H" gets you to 130. Think the Load rating is a lot more important....

Not easy finding 245/40/19's with 295/40/20's either. I do like my Goodrich g-force KDW's, though.
