Smile Torque converter and gears

Hey guys, yesterday I picked up the 05 auto from the transmission shop. Had a 2600 stall converter installed, super servo, billet, trans cooler and 411 GM gears. The guy doing the gears said the rear end was made by Detroit locker. Is that possible? I thought all the auto's were Torsen.
Monday I am heading to Clearwater to Jeremy Formato's for a custom tune. I can't wait to finish the break In period so I can try it all out.
Tuesday we start taking it apart for the custom paint.
Mike In Orlando and the DICTATOR have been great help. Really looking forward to the Daytona get together to start meeting fellow ( and lady ) FANATIC's.

You are right, the differential is a Torsen, have fun with your new mods, sounds like a great package.

Can't wait to see the results!! (in Daytona)

Your new SSR(only 2,000 miles) is a great R but it has a great owner and will be a super fine machine.

HEY FELLA'S, been gone for a while but I did want to put a plug in for Greg Ducato and his group. He "spruced up" my transmission about 4 to 5 years ago and it is still a wonderful thing I did. Great business ethics and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have a purple 04 SSR with a dyno 450 at the rear. When I lean into it this little truck runs well and the tranny is spectacular. Best money I spent on mods. Been thinking about putting a supercharger on it and just might do so one day, but for now I'm happy with the performance.
