I now need to decide on sway bars.

If you are planning to stay with the OEM ride height, I would recommend that a set of sway bars be your first installed part. They will do a lot to stop the rear end roll that comes when carrying a little too much speed into a corner. I've had ADDCO bars on mine for 6 years. They stopped the "lift and roll" that I would get when taking freeway transition ramps at speeds above the yellow sign limits.
Please note that the SSR weighs 5,000 pounds. The rear axle is a Torsen and the tires are designed as an "all weather" compromise. The Torsen axle is a great positraction unit, as it virtually turns into a live axle (no differential action) when you are sending lots of torque through the pinion. This
WILL get you in trouble, as the tires will break loose more easily in a cornering situation with the Torsen than with a non-posi unit. I seriously believe that this is a combination that has put a lot of SSRs into single vehicle accidents in cornering. Did you catch the 5,000 pounds? It's hard to cheat physics......
