Tune or Not to Tune?????

Tune or Not to Tune, that is the question. I have a 2004 SSR that I just bought a 3 yr. GMPP warranty on. What can I do to get more performance out of it without getting into trouble if I have to take it into the Dealership for any kind of work. I don't want to have my Warranty Voided I was wondering if going to a 4:10 gear would hurt anything. I'm hoping all of you can give me some ideas.

do both, you won't regret it. if you go to the stealership, just tell them not to mess with the tune. you'll love the change !

I went with the 4.10 gears and the Predator tune. Wow what a difference ! You need the Predator to reset the gear spec. You don't need to use the tune but if you do the only downside is the Predator tune requires premium fuel.

I'm thinking of changing to 4.56 gears because I also tow a 2400# trailer .

Actually the Predator has a couple of settings including a mild 87 octane setting. Of course if you want to extract everything from the Predator you do need the premium to use the hot setting. I have premium in mine (although in storage) but I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll stick with the premium setting or go back to 87 octane... I am planning on doing the 4.56 change and bought the Predator with an eye to that.
