The advice that I received from a couple hot rodders is that the stock intake is plenty big enough, even for superchargers.

I am, however, still looking for a good high-flow filter. Any suggestions?

Redlined, I happened to have my instruction sheets folder out, and ran into the K&N sheet. It has a dyno run referenced for an 05 SSR that shows an 12.75 hp gain @ 4700 rpm. It looks like the gains start at around 3500, with the most benefit being between 4000 and 6000 rpm. My guess is that the stock accordion tube starts disrupting flow in the higher rpm ranges.

Ok I was a little confused at first because I thought this thread was about intake manifolds...now I realize it's actually about air filters. Green filter makes a very nice oiled filter that is a direct replacement for our stock filter. When I modded the motor that is what I went with at the suggestion of MTI in Atlanta (they build hot corvettes). You can also change the ribbed tubing for a straight silicon one and in colors...I went with a blue one. I've posted pictures before but don't remember what the thread was. It all depends on whether you want to keep the stock intake box or not there are numerous choices out there and it just depends on your preference.
