The 6sp has a 14 Bolt Eaton
The Automatic has a 10 Bolt Torsen
I installed Yukon 4.56’s in mine
6sp is a 9.5" 14 bolt - Part # GM9.5.456 (1.876" diameter 30 spline pinion)

The automatic I am not so confident in part #’s
8.5" 10 bolt (1.626" diameter 30 spline pinion)
I have a Summit catalogue and the part # varies with the brand name.
Motive - MGR 885456
Summit - SUM 741005
Richmond - RMG 6901671

If you have a 10 bolt, this is what I installed, worked out great..
