What to spend my money on now..?

Hey guys,

I have the 2005 6spd.

I am VERY VERY Pleased with the results of my splurging thus far.

I added the 4.56 gearing (and I must add, everyone Not on this site, including my mechanic told me not to do it too)

I also added the Magnaflow muffler as well.

So, what should I do next?

Now that you can get a speeding ticket in five seconds or less you should do some appearance mods.

Yeah, I was thinking of a few items in that direction too. Mine has a TON of rock chips on the rear fender-walls...original owner added the running boards around the 50,000 mile mark..she has 62k now. I think I may remove the running boards and see if I like that look better...will have to replace those little fender covers tho.

What else tho, I think she looks pretty sweet with the factory set up..

Front splitter, rear wing (not a separate but attached wing). Murth mirrors (so you can see the blinkers flashing - can't see em' in the dash and can't hear em' with the top down), Chrome Package (est) if you don't have it yet and oh the list goes on...

Joe can help you with some of this as well, as can Mike in AZ.
I vote for handling.

I am liking the wing idea...I will have to check more into that.

What is a "front splitter"

Eibach lowering springs.

They make the R look more like a beast than a pickup truck, and they help the handling too. Not too expensive either and the rears are a snap to change (may need gearhead help with the fronts).

For bling:

Stainless steel grill combination, fuel door, and Corvette rear license plate frame.

Oh, and Simple Engineering 5" exhaust tips.

Eric also sells the extended grille bar, it goes past the headlights and covers the front fascia to fender seam, without the bowtie. See photo of it on the Ram Air hood picture

No-Brainer!

1.Add Mike in AZ's aux. fan ($240)and maybe his OEM replacement fan ($325). SSR Stuff - Simple Engineering

2.Purchase a replacement ignition switch, put it in the truck with the tools and printed out instructions on how to replace it. (about $25) Call Mike Byers @
1-817-6142'

3. Mike's spare tire kit.($415)

4. If you don't have a windsuppressor, get one, you will not be sorry and your wife/women friends will bless you.

Add some jewlery . . .

Add some jewelry : Billet grill inserts - front, Mike’s 5: stainless tips - rear, and RED calipers & brackets – sides. I have just completed this threesome on my Black Beauty. Very, Very pleased with the results !

Got the Air depressor. Thanks,

I am loving the other ideas too.

I like the idea of adding color to the middle of the leather seats...like BMWs do with the M-5 seats...but mine is the Blue-blurr...will have a hard time making a match there...LOL

I also think I will get the lower front spoiler and the rear wing (like on Mike in Orlando's Black one)

mine currently has running boards and I am thinking of taking them off anaid having the rear fender pieces replaced this spring...think I will wait till then to spend money on the spoiler(s)

Thanks again!

The seat centers don't have to match the paint, you can use any complementary color.
