How many minutes did it take you to reach the scary part?
30 minutes or so. Once the intake can off it was the point of no return. One of my buddies that is a ASE Master Tech and a LS wiz was suppose to come over to help, but hasn't shown up yet! Gonna try and get a little further tonight before it gets too late.

Well we got to the point of putting the intercooler in and decided to call it a night. Depending on when I can get out of work tomorrow night we should hopefully have it running and I can test fit the coilpack covers then get them off to paint and the pinstripper.
Used 4 new 3/4" hoses that had 90 degree bends that I got from Advanced Auto and had (3) 15/16" clamps from Made for You Products to seperate the hoses. Had these left over from the wife's old Camaro. Gotta order up some Yellow ones now:
Made things much easier by pulling the nose. Was a pain with the front spoiler on but was worth the extra steps:
Now we need to put the belt on, finish the electrical connects, wire the intercooler pump install the Magna Volt and clean things up. Hopefully we'll be done by the weekend. Working @ Americade Bike Rally this week and it depends on when we get done at night if we are going to work on this when we get home!

started to read this thread and tried to figure the scary part out . then I got it , the scary part is gonna be when you pull out of the garage and burn up your tires as the neighbors look out their windows .
Finally had time to finish the hard part and just got it fired up. Amazing, after three cranks it fired right up and as smooth as could be. Need to clean some routing of wires, put the nose back on and test fit the coil pack covers. Can't wait to get those painted and back on!

Don't forget to videotape your first burnout and post it. Great job. It's getting me to thinking I can do that, too. Maybe my Father's Day present will be a Magnacharger of my own.

I can always put a bug in someone's ear if you want me to!!
I'M sure my buddy will love to film that. He just got one of the cameras that you can stick anywhere. Gets some really cool video with that thing. He's taking bets on how long it takes to burn off this set of tires.

I think the part that would have scared me was taking off the front nose of the car and and being careful not to scratch it!!!!!
No big deal. Use to it from working on bikes. One thing I have learned is to take your time around painted surfaces.
