Ok. We've had our snow day (i.e. Snow on Christmas day in Arlington TX is a pretty rare event ). Lets plan for the kick-off of the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour - Saturday June 1: Arlington, TX. We need together and see all the great vehicles. Suggestions?
Yes, I plan to take part in the Power Tour this year. If any of the group needs a place to crash the night before the tour I live two miles from the starting point at Quik Trip Park and have an empty guest room.
I can also offer help checking out motels here locally for you before you make reservations. Now there is not much here in Grand Prairie but there are lots of rooms up the road in Arlington just a few miles away.

Planning on joining the tour in Birmingham (Hoover) on Wednesday June the 5th. Will be in town on the afternoon of the 4th probably at a Holiday Inn Express. Tennesseecozydog (05 Redline Red). Sounds like fun....in the sun. Probably will be hotter than a depot stove.
Rob I have small house so getting it full will not take much. I only have one guest room and it may already be spoken for. But bring a sleeping bag and maybe save the motel bill that night.
Rob don't wait too long to start marking off things on the Bucket List. If you don't do interesting things while you are young and middle aged you will never just change and start doing them when you are older. You get set in your ways sooner than you think.
I have signed up for the Long Haul on the Hot Rod Power Tour. I also have booked my rooms for the entire way on the advice of the SSR Fanatics the Local Diner get together last Saturday.
I hope to see some other SSRs off the forum on the tour.
So Yea Cowboy and myself are going on a great adventure this summer.
We have changed our mind or itinerary. Was gonna' hook up in Birmingham but I think we'll come to Memphis and do Memphis, Birmingham and Chattanooga and then home to Murfreesboro. We might, I said might go on to Concord. Just depends how we feel and how hot and humid it is. As Elvis said "True Love Travels on a Gravel Road" Tennesseecozydog.
