anyone in houston area had car tuned?

if so where is a good trustworthy place to have it done? i heard it increases coolness, gas mileage and helps with soe performance

Had some tuning work done at Bumbera's Performance Associates at hwy 6 south of I 10. Like the people and they did good work. That was about 3 years ago. Know others that use Bumberas and like there work. It is a ways to go, if you don't live on the west side of Houston.

I use both Bumbera's on I-10 going towards Katy 281-760-4520 and Advanced Restorations in Huffman just west of Humble 281.324.7284.

Bumbera's is working on our 71 Road Runner, and Advanced Restorations has our 78 Corvette. Both do good work. Paul at Advanced Restorations recently tuned a 71 440 6-pack Cuda for us, and it screams! I was very impressed. He found a pin-hole leak on the top of the gas tank, adjusted the vacumn, and it runs like new. Quick work, priced right, excellent results. I hope the vette runs half as good!

You can also try Tyger Lucas of Lucas Automotive. He owns the shop and a very nice SSR, and he can trick out an SSR as well as anyone. He is in the Cypress area. 713.269.1001
