I hate to be the one to bring the group bad news about a death in our SSR family. WECK'S HAS DIED!
Just saw the signs on the door yesterday. So, a search will have to be made for a new meeting place whenever another meeting is called.
I have a suggesstion for a place that serves a great Mexican brunch on Sundays from 9 to 2. It is Nico's at Frankford and Josey in Carrollton across from Harbour Freight. They have a side room we could use. If you want more details, let me know.
We could go to Norma's at Trinity Mills and the Dallas North Tollway. That's where the Late Great Chevys of Dallas have their morning car show on the second Sat of the month.

comments: I saw where Weck's in Lewisville was going to be closed on Monday
and Tuesday but now someone tells me you are just closed. What is going on?
I'm part of a truck club that meets here from time to time for breakfast,
and the idea of finding a place that takes great care of us, with
exceptional food is a daunting task. Please say it ain't so. Michael A Fox
HI Michael
I am sorry to say it is. We just never did enough business during the week
and couldn't make it on weekends alone.
We are really sad also.
Thanks
Art

I guess this means we must just find another breakfast place. As they say life goes on.How soon can you find a place as we will be down in 13 days for breakfast!!

I'm thinking of two possibilities.
Ozona's - Great Sunday brunch and. Bloody Mary bar. Very casual ie; shorts, t-shirts etc. Ozona Grill & Bar
Villa O - a great 10:00 a. - 3:00p. Buffet. a little dressier ie; shirts with collars, optional sport jackets etc.
They've got a bottomless Bloody Mary, Mimosa, Bellini's and frozen Sfuzzi's for $9.00. http://www.villaorestaurant.com/pdf/...a-O_Brunch.pdf

My SSR: WE have an Aqua Blur 05 and a Redline Red 05
Bill Smith's Cafe in Mckinney. Bill has been in business since the 50's. Best breakfast you will find anywhere. This place is like you just stepped back in time!

Another place
We have had Christmas Partys at Tierney's at 208E. Main (on East side of I35W in Lewisville) Food is excellent.also has a seperate room for us. Kay over now only three
maybe we should try a once a month restuarant rotation! it would be nice to see other areas of the city and eat different types of food and the drive would be fun too! and we wouldn't always have to do breakfast.
