I think we can meet at Dixie Farm Road, Race Track gas station. I will talk with the manager of Cruiser's Ice House, where the benefit is taking place, to see if we can park together.

Time is still undetermined but probably be around noon on Sunday. The bikers are making a poker run at noon from Cruiser's

I think we can drive down I-45 to FM-646 south to FM-2004.

(There are other options I-45 to FM 1764 to FM 646 and down FM 2004; I-45 to FM 2004 and back to FM 646.)

Just talked to the folks at Cruisers. They said it was first come first serve on the parking. They suggested being there about 10:30 (they don't start serving until noon).

They are expecting about 4,000 people. The poker run for the bikers is at noon so I would think the parking would clear out for a while.

What do you guys and gals think. Stick with an earlier departure and be there at .............. say 11:30?

Cruisers Ice House is anxious for our SSR's to be a part of this.

Would if we could, but we can't. Kitchen is being remodeled and we need to apply our talents to sanding, painting and assembling IKEA stuff.

Rain, Rain Rain

It looks like rain all day Sunday.

How many want to chance it tomorrow? Or do we just cancel and reschedule?

Cruiser's Ice House usually has live music every weekend. We could plan a road trip to include Haak Winery and Cruiser's Ice House (since they are close together) at a later date.

Comments?

I certainly don't want to try it Sunday. We can re-schedule a get together under better weather conditions. Stay safe everyone! We still have the big Christmas Party at Larry's on Dec. 15th !!!!

Count us out as well. We wanted to HEAR the Blues, not TURN Blue. Reschedule sounds good.

BTW - can we bring anything along for the Christmas Party?
