Hey all SSR owners, I would like to personally invite you all to come join us at Bear Creek Park in Houston, Pavillion No. 6, on
Sunday, May 29th, where the Texas Gulf Coast Oldsmobile Club is having our 17th Annual
People's Choice Car Show.
It's an
open car show to all makes and models, with 16 categories of classes,
including a SSR class. Last year we had a total of 120 cars, and in the SSR class we had 10 SSR's. This year we hope to have a lot more. So come and join us. The show is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. If interested, please let me know. You can email me here or at

entry fee is $20 and for the first 100 cars you get a great goodie bag and t-shirt. We will be serving refreshments, BBQ sandwiches. We have lots of door prizes to give away also. Tool sets, a TV, car wash kits, and other great prizes. The classes are: Class 1: Pre 1950; Class 2: 1950-59; Class 3: 1960-67; Class 4: 1968-69; Class 5: 1970-72; Class 6: 1973-85; Class 7: 1986-05; Class 8: Street Rod; Class 9: Truck; Class 10: Oldsmobile; Class 11: 2006-present; Class 12: Import; Class 13: Rat Rods; Class 14: Mustang; Class 15: Corvette;
Class 16: SSR
