Crosscheck's Labor Day Picnic Tour Hits Texas...Again!
You're all invited!
When:
Saturday, September 4th, 2010 - 2:00pm til 8ish
Where:
Steve and Nancy's in Grand Prairie
Live Entertainment: ThreesomeListen Here
(and maybe some special guests)
What you need:
We'll take care of the burgers, dogs, chicken, sausage, etc. Just bring a cooler with any alcoholic beverages you would like to consume, and you're good to go. Oh...and you may want to throw a chair in your truck, just in case. If you would like to supply a dish or dessert of some sort, we won't complain. Just let us know what you're bringing.
Please...please....let me know if you will be attending as soon as you know (no later than Wednesday, September 1st), so we can plan accordingly. I'll PM the address to those attending.
A Brief History:Started as the Crosscheck/Badon Hill Labor Day Picnic in 2003 at the Cupajoe Entertainment Complex in Toms River, NJ. The tradition was held up for the next 4 years with various guest musicians and bands, but always focused around members of Crosscheck and Badon Hill.
Although, always a good time, there was silence in 2008 (). No Loud obnoxious music, no annoyed neighbors (although there never really were), and no jail time served (actually, I don't think there was ever any of that either, though, I'm not sure).
In 2009...1700 miles to the Southwest of its original location, it resurfaced! With new friends and new family, it was one of the best ever!
Now it's 2010! This time we hired a cover band to take care of the entertainment...well most of it. More friends, more adopted family, more time for me to actually mingle, and loads more fun!
Some rock, some acoustic, some horseshoes, some food...there's something for everyone.
*Travelers are welcome...(sleeping arrangements could be made for a few...inquire within).
FAQ:
1) Are kids welcome?
Yes! but please keep the obnoxious ones on a leash!
2) Are dogs welcome?
Yes! No leash required.
3) Are cats welcome?
Can I punt it?
4) Can I bring a friend or 2?
Yes! Just let me know, so I can have a somewhat accurate count ahead of time.
well, as soon as I find out when the party is for my nephew, he graduates boot camp this Friday , I will know if we can make it or not, I heard last year was a blast

We'll keep our fingers crossed! You're bound to make it here one of these years.
Darn! I was hoping it was Sunday. Have to work Saturday 3-11. Haven't been in touch with the gang for sometime now. Back at work after 3 years of retirement, and they are kicking my butt. Hadn't work this hard in all my 34 years in my previous life. Well have a great time, as I know you will. Last year was a blast. Hope to see y'all soon.

Just in case anyone thinks that I think they're coming, I don't recall anyone giving me a definite head count (although, that doesn't mean you didn't). So if you are coming, please let me know. I don't need the nays, just the yays so we can plan accordingly.
Thanks!
