Dallas Trip coming up...
Looks like I have a work trip to Dallas coming up - no date set yet...
I'm going to try to drive the SSR out for this trip. (Getting paid to drive it!!!)
I'll most likely be there for just one week...
So what to do - where to eat in the Downtown area? The office is on Commerce St and so far The Fairmont is the only hotel I've found that has smoking rooms...
Potential eateries: Nick and Sams Steak - Bob's steak and Chop House - Meshacks BBQ Shack - Twisted Root Burger Co. - Kubys Sausage House - Maple and Motor...
My SSR: '05 Concept Truck, powered by Heavy Duty rubberbands, and a really BIG WINDUP KEY!
Bob's Steak House is a good one. Twisted Root has tasty wild game. Kuby's is a pretty good german restaurant. Uncle Julio's is my choice for mexican food. Ball's for that great greasy Burger, ground that day served on a Poppy Seed bun.
McDonald's has happy faces, but I digress. Depending on when you get here, Weck's is a good spot for breakfast.

Dont forget The Alligator Cafe for Cajun food (its a hole in the wall, but sooo Good), Barbec's for breakfast or brunch, and if you want some good B-B-Q, Sammy's Bar B Que.

Well, looks like I'm going to be in Dallas Oct 18-22.
So far the plan is to head out Saturday morning. Either stay in Gallup NM (IF I need to be at the office early Monday morning - OR - in Holbrook AZ if Monday is considered my 'travel' day - with a second overnight in Lubbock.
I may be cut loose and head toward home on Friday????
