DFW, San Antonio, Houston Texas Meet Oct. 16

If any of you Tex, Ok, La guys want to come to the little town of Grapeland (75844) for a drive in a parade come on down. Grapeland is 135 miles southeast of Dallas and 150 miles north of Houston. Both routes can use I45 to within 50 miles of Grapeland. This is the widely touted "Peanut Festival" in a town where peanuts are no longer grown (although about 1000 acres of watermelons are). There is an arts fair, lots of eats, and a carnival that ensue immediately after the parade. Parade line up is 9:00am. The parade lasts about 30 minutes and usually attracts 3-4 thousand. No fees. Be glad to coordinate a gathering. Don

Awww, I cant make it, I have a friend's wedding celebration to go to that weekend. I was looking forward to meeting up with everyone. Oh well! yall have fun!
