Thumbs up Dogwood Festival Agenda (tentative)

As of this moment;
07:00 pm Friday until ? Sonic Take Over (view parade lineup location)
Is there a tailgate party in here somewhere?
09:00 Sat morning line up for parade (no more than 10 min from rooms)
09:45 Drive in parade!
11:00 - 1:00 Set up OUTSIDE car show (visit booths and scrounge for lunch)
01:00 pm Begin tour
01:30 - 1:45 photo op in Davey Dogwood Park
02:00 Continue tour to Love's Lookout mountain
02:45 Pee at Love's Lookout mountain
03:00 Ccontinue tour to Rusk Drag Strip
03:30 - 4:00 Sonic Takeover in Rusk
04:00 Continue Tour
05:15 or 5:30 Arrive back at rooms
06:30 Leave for The Creamery and Cafe on Main downtown Grapeland
07:00 Arrive at same
07:00 - 9:00 Party with no entertainment at this time (still tryin')
09:00 All who want to party at the pubs leave for Palestine
09:00 Or those who want can come on over to my place and play 42 or cards and eat cookies w cokes
Is there a tailgate party in here somewhere?
Sun - Breakfast?
09:30 check out and leave for Railroad Depot
10:00 check in for train ride to Rusk (photo op here?)
11:00 begin train ride
12:30? picnic at Rusk park (RCs here?)
02:00 leave Rusk for Palestine
03:30? arrive in Palestine (that's all folks)

The parade line up is about 5 min from any of the hotels.
If the entertainment works out, you'll need some 50s-60s costuming to feel really sharp (optional of course) (Hats always in style!)

Mrs. OP is very concerned that she won't have to "pee" at 2:45pm, she states, "that is a lot of pressure"

Thanks for the itinerary, but are we participating in the parade? Or just watching it?

You know I understand that there is (was) a real apple that this referred to! Of course in North Texas this referred to Bois D'Arc balls. And then there are those that the horses make; hope those are behind the cars in the parade.

Diane and I wont have an SSR in the parade. But perhaps we can get there early enough to take pictures as you all drive through. We can talk about it Friday night when we get there.

Zaino, did you ever get any of those floor mats, from SSR Camaro? Did anyone? Just want to know what I am suppose to bring with me.

No, I didn't get the mats; Chevrolet replaced mine for me and let me keep the old ones. So I have an extra and didn't buy those. Thanks for asking.
