Let's all go to California next Summer 2008! Show 'em some real Lonestar SSRs. Somebody take the lead and let's get it on the calendar! I'd like to surround Mike in Azs house on the way. Maybe do some Route 66 by Artsmart's house too! What do you say?

Sounds like we got ourselves a "Round-up".....so we be moseyin to California next year...but, I'm from California!! I wasn't born here in Texas but I got here as fast as I could....(only took 45 years!!)
This really sounds great. I hope you can get a trail drive together and show up next year. We would love to play host to a large Texas contingent, and if you pick up any strays between Texas and California, that would be great also.

Must be all the BBQ talk that caught the Texans attention - we'll most certainly set you'all up! April is a GREAT time to see the San Joaquin Valley/Kingsburg - USUALLY not too hot.
FYI: In 2007: temps in the 60's/70's for car show weekend (20th-22nd) - the following weekend (27th-29th) the valley saw record highs - Friday was 98 - WAYYYY to early for triple digits! (Valley will be back in the 'normal' 70's this week...
Hey all you Texans,
Come on down. We have: a twin, a double, a queen, a king size bed and a queen sofa sleeper available. Reservations being accepted now! We hope this event happens.

I hope all my Texas friends can make the trip. You will probably be coming in On I-10 & the city of Rancho Mirage is just off I-10. We have room also for you maybe not as much as the bondo princess but we will make do. This was our first year to Kingsburg & we really had a good time. Kieth does a fantastic job. It's as good as the Luckenbach run. Hope you make it as we will really have a good time.

no Route 66 connected to I-10...gotta come north along I-40 unless you hook up with the strip from San Bernardino to Santa Monica but that's mostly stop and go.
