I'm starting a new thread for the holiday get together. Once I get a count of people, I can try to get us tickets for the ice show so that we can all go in at the same time and make a group reservation at the Glass Cactus

Friday, December 29th - 6 pm
finalizing reservations at the Gaylord on 12/18 but this is the tentative schedule

6:30 dinner at the Riverwalk Cafe ($28 / person)
8:30 ICE
9:15ish Glass Cactus

NOTE: I was out at the Gaylord today for a work function and we toured the ICE show. Very, Very, Cold inside 9 degrees. Bring gloves and warm pants. They supply parkas.

Lets party Nancy will we be eating first or going to see the Ice Sculptures? Jan said she might be a little later than 6 to get there.

Based on what the hotel is telling me - I think we should eat first - with this large of a group they can get us into Ama Lur at either 6:30 or 8 pm - let me know what you think - I'm going to finalize all the plans tomorrow with the Gaylord - Does anyone want to spend the night?? I'll ask about a group rate if you want

Ice doesn't close until 11 pm - I put tentative schedule in the 1st post of this thread - Let me know your thoughts as soon as you can & I'll get everything confirmed tomorrow and tuesday with the Gaylord

Diane and I are already discussing staying there so we can party a little longer, and don't have to worry about driving home.

As it is we wll be getting there a little late since Diane will be working until 5:30p.

Are we wearing hats to the glass cactus? Would probably be a hassle to wear a hat with the parkas when we tour the ICE, but sure would be fun to have our hats on at the cactus

IDEAL TIME

Changed the dinner location to the Riverwalk Cafe - Market style eatery featuring regional foods prepared with a Texas flare. Dinner prices range from $18 - $32 per person.

Will get the group rate for ICE finalized either today or tomorrow.
