My SSR: Black - 2003 VIN# 3053 - Custom Paint by John Hardin
Houtex checking back in - Renaissance Festival.
Been a different kind of time since the Kerrville meet. Haven't been on the site much - got tired of "timing out" just to change screens, post, etc. I'm just hoping to get this up.
Been getting a little consulting work - but looking at pulling the retirement trigger a little early and still chasing the consulting work. Went to a reunion up north in September and that pretty much shot our entertainment budget for a month. Never did get back with Carl about Fredricksburg, but it's getting a bit late for that.
Anyway - just checking to see if anybody's interested in hitting the Renaissance Festival this year. I'm having my other knee replaced on November 10th, so trying to see if we can get it in before that. Other than October 24th, we're pretty loose the other weekends. Take a look below and let me know which dates are good:
Oct 17
Oct 18
Oct 24
Oct 31
Nov 1
Nov 7
Nov 8
Once I get the knee done- I'll be down for at least 6-8 weeks.

I really wanted to come back down there and hit the Renaissance Festival this year, but unfortunately our time has been taken up with plmubing and a new puppy. I still haven;t had time to take my trailer out the the hunting lease, and that is usually down around the 1st of the month.
I wish I could join you, especially now that I have the right gear to wear. Count Diane and I in on this next year.
Good luck with the knee surgery.

Good to hear from you Houtex. I gather you had one knee replaced already? I guess you must be ready for the next. I can't walk the festival and will wait for a sit down event. I hope you all have fun.
