Arrow I am going to TEXAS!

I am going to be in San Antonio, Texas for 5 days.

I am going to be in town for a Brac Meeting... tomorrow through Wednesday.

Is there any Fanatics that might be able to show me around town and a few of the great sites while I am down there?

Thanks,

Marc, unfortuantely San Antonio is not am easy day trip.... if you happen to come through the Dallas / Arlington (I heard there was a Government Motors Co. there) area,.. that is another story.

I hope someone from the SA area steps up to be your host and guide, but even if no one does make it a point to go to the River Walk. Have a great trip. I hope the weather has improved otherwise it won't be much different than upstate NY

P.S. Oh yeah, you might want to check out the Alamo also.

Just drove back from SA , if you wind up near the Riverwalk I would highly recommend Dick's Last Resort and also Howling At the Moon.

Hey, Marc . . . if no one from the San Antonio area volunteers, swing by Tucson on your way home and I'll buy you Lunch and/or Dinner.

We definitely don't want you to return to Cold Country hungry.

RRR Will see be there for the meetings? FYI: Our town has two bases one is the Air Force (staying open) the other Army (closing). As one my surmise I am an elected official in my town thus I am going down to San Antonio to represent the town at the BRAC Meeting.

Thanks for that kind offer and the PM too. Today I am flying in later and will be leaving very early on Thursday. So I hope to definitely find some free time between Monday & Wednesday to get together with you. I heard that the River Walk is great to see.

*Now all you great members please try to behave while I am away.... If not Linda, Jay or John will take care of things...

Marc came to the bowling alley to watch me bowl a few years back for one of the WDC's ....he didn't bowl just came to watch and I enjoyed it. We sipped a few beers together and talked. I don't know if he bowls but I'm sure he will get a kick out of the pin setter at your alley ...I sure did
