Ain't it grand. I do have one opinion I'd like to share though, why isn't everyone talking about how well the Mav's played as opposed to how poorly the Heat played? I have to hand it to Rick Carlyle...he coached a champion winning series and the team played to win it all, no matter what the opponents through at them.

As much as it pains me to admit.... the Mavericks deserved the win and Dierk deserves his trophy. I can live with it this year but next year we will be the force to be reckoned with once again! Love my D. Wade!

Great win for Dallas. It shows you can't buy the championship.
Team work won this series!!

Hard not to root for the home state team and underdog, even with Cuban being such a t@@l.

Thumbs up

Dallas had their entire team play to win.

Congrats to them and their coaching staff for a total team effort and a deserved win.

I think everyone except die hard Heat fans was rooting for Dallas on this one.

Congratulations to the Mav's. It's been a long road, but you're on the board. That gives Texas 7 NBA championships - 4 for the Spurs, 2 for the Rockets, and now the Mavs. Pretty good, huh?

Interesting phenomenon. Michael Vick abuses and kills defenseless animals and he's now a fan favorite. Lance Armstrong no doubt used PED's and he's a hero. Jason Kidd probably guilty of spousal abuse, and he's on top of the heap. Countless athletes commit countless transgressions and yet they're still cheered. But LeBron James, who hasn't broken any laws, violated any league rules and hasn't beaten anybody up off the court only has to open his mouth to change feet, and he's universally hated. Shows you the impact of image.
