Don't know if we'll be able to make it. Beth is probably working over that week-end. AND she won't let me drive the R un-supervised ever since Joe tuned it last year. :bann:
Happy Stinko De Mayo everyone.... It's my birthday, and I'll drink what I want to, drink what I want to......:sleep drink what I want to sleep
Kathy and I are probably out---too much stuff!!! It's Hell-- to be Retired and have more to do than when working the job. I always heard Retired folks say "they didn't know how they got everything done when they were working" NOW I KNOW
You got that right Nick. since we got a restraining order against the son-in-law (for abusing grand daughter & grand son) Jan & I have to go to Nashville (actually Madison) to pick up the grand children Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from school (110 mile round trip). Daughter is a Nurse Practitioner with Vanderbilt School of Nursing and works 8 am to 6 pm on those days. So good old Poppy & MiMi do the "taxi" run. That leaves Mondays & Thursday's to do errands and rest up! Other 2 grand children are Home Schooled so that helps. Saturday & Sunday's we try to enjoy the SSR (if the weather is OK). Damn is Maggie Valley ever gonna' get here!!! Gotta' get the hell outa' town for a while. Gonna' get home from Maggie on Sunday (5/22), rest up Monday the head back to Gatlinburg on Tuesday morning for the rest of the week (5/24 to 5/27). tennesseecozydog :ssr :smile2: :x
I'm sad to say, that we can't make this run. :crying: But what bothers me more is... Last "MTR" there were only two "Redline Reds" there out of ~25 trucks, and if Gary doesn't show (or some other Red owner), then everyone will be sad because their favorite color is not there. :frown2: >

Brian
I should be able to make this one although vacation starts two days later...and if you do come down Focks, bring those parts we discussed and I will have the $$$:smile2:
Can't make it :frown2: Frank and Margaret. Will be in Maggie Valley that day. One of these days Jan :x and I :smile2: are gonna' surprise you all and show up on your doorstep or your 5 STAR diner. That's not a promise, that's a threat!
Liz & I are not able to attend, plus we are heading to Austin & then Fredericksburg the following weekend. One NOTE about Salt Lick - CASH ONLY restaurant. Great BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish I could join you all. Really enjoyed the Cruise last fall. Madeline and I hope to join you again in the fall. :crying:
