Just made reservations at the Sunday House - Be sure that you tell them you're with the SSR group - they are giving us a $5.00 discount on the room rate - Also the trade days are on Hwy 290 across from the Wildseed Farm and the Hanger is on the opposite side of Fredericksburg next to the fairgrounds (per the girl at the hotel)
OK, I'm new to this, so pardon me if the netiquette is not right. I live in New Braunfels, so it's a short drive, but I'd like to connect with the convoy from Austin. If there are any other females wanting to share a room, please contact me.

Welcome to the group and we will be glad to meet you. Glad to have you come on the trip but be sure to call and make a reservation. The weekend we are going is a very busy one. The group of people you will meet are great and you will have alot fun with them.
Looking forward to meeting you. What color SSR do you drive?
Thanks to everyone for letting us know who has booked rooms and where. To keep up with the information you can always look back to post number 30 on this thread and it is updated everytime SSR's post they have booked.
This is going to be great.
Looking forward to seeing all of you again and meeting some new people also.

ok I am in one way or another. will have to firm up plans a little later one. Might make this a girls weekend only, Oct. 21 is Jasmine's birthday! I will book a room at Sunday's House early next week!
Travel plans going south from Dallas area, instead of taking I-35 (I know it is faster) but I think hwy281(don't have my atlas handy) is a great little scenic route and you miss all the traffic in Austin and most of the big semi trailers too:
Added you to the already booked list in the thread (#30). Glad to see you are coming. This will be so much fun shopping at all the neat stores and visiting with everyone again.

It's LP's b'day 10/21 as well. We'll make a party out of it. I am going to try and secure us all a spot at the 50's diner for that Saturday night. After vacation, I will drive out to speak with management...
Thanks for stepping in on this one OP, this sounds like a good idea.
Are you planning on staying in Fredericksburg? I could not tell by your reply in the thread. Would like to know so I can add you to the booking list where ever you two are staying. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hangar
Ok, I have received several PM's from fanatics inquiring about the Hangar Hotel. I have spoken with Hangar management and they are holding the rooms for a wedding party but their cut-off date is September 20, 2006. You can call now and add your name to the waiting list and then check in after 9/20/06 to book a room if it is available.
Due to the busy weekend, I would still suggest booking a room elsewhere in case the Hangar is booked and then cancelling if the Hangar opens up.
Hope this answers everyone's questions and hope to see you all in October...
