SA Eat & Greet (July 08)

I was voted into putting on the July E&G it was a closed door meeting that I wasn't invited to until after the vote

I was thinking of having it at Clear Springs Cafe either on a Friday or Saturday night 18/19 or 25/26 what works best for evryone ??? I have to
try and out do Darvel's last meeting and that's some big shoes to fill. We had 11 SSR and about 30 people there. Clear Springs is between New Braunfels and Seguin on High way 46. They have great food and and old style look to the building. The special is Catfish, but they have a real good steak and all kinds of other food including a big hamberger.

I like Saturday evenings because more of my family shows up. Mikey had his family along last time and they fit right in.

That's the one I would like also, Because we have the grandboys birthday party on the 19th. We could still make it but would be pushing it.

Saturday the 26th sounds great. Darlene and I will be there. I agree Saturday nights are probably the best for a greater turnout.

I'm going to Killeen on the 26th to the Cen-Tex car show, but I'll try to be back in time for the meet & greet. Think I'll enter the show to insure a good front row seat and close contact w/all the car owners.

Joe Rea is a nice guy he lives about a mile from my house. He bought his Red
03 new here in town and I never know him untin Darvel ran into him at CVS.
His R only has 19,000 miles and looks new. He travels a lot and isn't 100% sure if he'll be in town but loves us all already. He said it's his kind of people.
I'll call him soon and let him know, since he only can get dial up at his house and it takes way to long to get on this forum.
