Sounds like a plan to me. It's not so much about where we go, just that we go. Like the bike riders say, "It's not about the destination, it's about the ride."

Sounds Like A Plan

I was wondering where everyone had gone to. I know the summer heat kept me inside for most of the summer. It was just toooooo hot to even think straight. Darlene and I are game for anything as long as the rain stays away. I haven't been on the forum much lately, but I did catch that crack by Blue on Sep 9, about a certain SSR in San Antonio being garaged at even the sign of a rain cloud. Sad to say it but it is the truth. It takes way too long to detail my "R" to my rigid specifications. Blue, do you have specifications?

I thought about a nice place in Universal city to meet....

The Longhorn Café....good burgers and such...and they a party room .....

so the place is now set

the Longhorn Cafe on Pat Booker Rd....(the old hungry farmer place)

the time 6:00 pm until whenever we decide to go to the Sonic down the street

be there or be hungry.........

A great choice. You did good. Thanks for getting this started. Can't wait to see everyone again. It has been awhile.

Great Time

Just wanted to say Darlene and I had a great time. It is always so nice to sit, chat and eat with fellow fanatics. It has been several months since we were able to get together. Again, thanks goes out to Carl. He is always at the forefront arranging our Eat and Greets. As Carl mentioned earlier, Silver Streak (Tom) will be leaving our SA fanatic family for an assignment in Nebraska. We will defintely miss him. He is one class individual and a fine young Air Force Officer. We wish him the very best of luck in his future endeavors. Keep in touch Tom.

That's pretty good...you averaged 65 miles per hour.
