Sorry, we didn't end up leaving the track till around 9:00. I made it to the fourth round of eliminations in the street class!! My average times were around 14.5 but my best was a 14.37. I won't miss the next meet and eat because I need to inquire over who found out about the wigs
Just wanted to stop in an say hi to everyone. It's been over 18 months since I sold my SSR. Someone told me the guy that bought it from me ended up selling it after replacing the engine when it blew a hole through the block - that's too bad. Hope you all are still having fun with your SSRs! We're still on target with our six year (now 4 1/2) plan to retire but I sure miss not shifting gears and cruising the Texas back roads!
My SSR: 05 6 speed black has a K&N cold air kit descreened and Diablo tuner & Eric's hood
Hey Marty nice hearing from you. It's been really hot here I'm sure you miss that We need to have another eat & greet soon. We'll have a glass of ice tea in both of your honor and Carl would like to have it at Hooter's I'm sure Keep that retirement plan in motion there's light at the end of that tunnel for a lot of us old fools

Thanks for dropping in on us fanatics. Like Tom said it has been super hot and personally I spend a lot of my time just trying to stay cool. When it gets hot the Eat & Greets taper off considerably. When it cools down we will resume our get togethers. Sounds like you are headed in the right direction with your retirement plan. When you get there you will love it. I know I do, inspite of my little PT 25hr a week job. It gives me a little something to keep my brain engaged. Well, you all take care and thanks for thinking about your fanatic friends.
Don't forget to let me know when the next meet & greet will be. I live in McAllen, so a couple of days notice will be fine raycarbo4@gmail.com
Thanks
Ray
