Sept 20 2008 Texas Motor Speedway Laps For Chairity
Ok Texas Fanatics, we haven't done this one in a while and it looks like they have finally taken into account that the Car Clubs want to ride together
from 5-7 Pm as long as we have 12 vehicles we can go as a group.
Hopefully we can get the pace truck (Jay ) to come lead the way around the track
$30 for 3 controlled laps, and $10.oo for infield pictures of course you can do more than the 3lap session if we so choose and many of us have in the past
We can plan on eating somewhere afterwards
UPDATE
The car club space from 5 -7 has been filled for 2 or more months but we can still go as a group, this means between 7 and 10
If we eat first then show up early, as a group, do our entry forms we should be fine with getting in.
Now I was thinking Sonny Bryan's BBQ has a nice big room, near TMS, we could meet there @ 5:00 eat and then go to the track.
Let me know how many will be showing up for Dinner so I can let Sonny Bryan's know
The address and info for Sonny Bryan's

Count me in! I think it would be a blast if we could get 40 SSR's there and they'd let us go out with Jay in the lead with the strobes on. We could have our own SSR Nascssr race.
Man! Wouldn't you know that this is the same weekend that I'll be up in Indianapolis for the "Back at the Brickyard" pace car (err...truck in my case) event!

Phooey !! Just realized the "Cowtown Cruisin for the Cure"
supporting prostate cancer cure is that Saturday on Main Street in Fort Worth Cowtown Cruisin' for a Cure - Fort Worth, Texas!
and since I am a member of the Board of the org I gotta be there from 4:00AM till 5:00PM. Over 400 cars up and down Main Street for 10 blocks. Come on down if you don't make it to the track. Starts at 10:00 AM but gates open at 6:30 AM to line up and park.
Benefits a great cause and there will be two Harris Methodist buses there for free prostate cancer tests.
