Shurman comes to Dallas

For those of you who saw the video filming in the bar while we were in Bandera...

The band filming the video (Shurman), will be opening for Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at House of Blues in Dallas, on Sunday, October 25th.

Nancy and I have been huge fans of Roger Clyne since his days in the Refreshments in the mid 90's. I even had the privilege of opening for the Peacemakers in Jersey a few years ago. Damn that was fun!

Anyway...needless to say, Nancy and I will be there if anyone else cares to join us.

I don't know what Shurman will be like live, but we've seen the Peacemakers quite a few times, and they never disappoint!

*Just a side note...Clyne wrote and performed (with the Refreshments), the theme song for King of the Hill.

Maybe Jasmine and her friends will want to go with me, I don't really like Country but Roger songs sound pretty good

Roger is definitely more rock than country...especially live. That would be cool if you came...I think you'll really enjoy it.

If they're playing in the same part of HOB that they did last time I saw 'em (and I think they are), there's no seats. GA, standing room only...with the exception of a few couches on the sides.
