SSR friend wins Olympic Bronze

WOW. My son's high school wrestling team mate Randi Miller won Women's bronze metal today. She is only 5' 1'. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!
She lives at the Olympic village, but comes home at Christmas and attends the NCAA wrestling event and helps with the women's college matches.

Smile Olympics

Dara Torres (who missed gold by 100th of a second) Excercises and trains at my gym here in Coral Springs,Fl. We compare abbs 3 days a week (I weigh 215 and have been kidding her that she is my Idol.) Her Coach is dying and I am sure that affected her last effort. She is 41 and I am mid seventies. She is a real sweetheart with a 2-year old daughter. We are planing a welcome home party for her. JACK

I saw the race where she told one of the head judges to hold the start of the race up because one of the swimmers had a tear in her suit and was running to get another one....what a true sportswoman! A true olympian...making sure that everyone had a chance to win.

I also saw her interview where they showed someone helping her stretch by bending the cr** out of her! I'd call it torture, but she didn't seem to mind that much
