Texas

WE may never move from Texas because we may never find a buyer. Texas is a great Country, I mean STATE. Things are new, great roads, polite people. No state income tax. Registration fees low. Cowboys are for real here. Stores are upscale, new or remodeled. Oil only needs to hit $70.00 a barrel to start pumping here in Texas. In California you get flipped-off ten times a day. Here you never get the finger. You can get a concealed weapon permit in one day after attending a 12 hour class. Colleges all over the place. Too many churches. My kids love it.

Ditto Jgrden's words. Lived in Cal, couldn't wait to get to Texas. Would never consider living anywhere else...except, maybe a summer home in Eastern Tennessee...reminds me a lot of Texas.

, John . . . Texans are great people.

Having lived in California, both Southern and Northern, much of my adult working life, I have lots of fond memories of those years, however, I would never consider returning other than for a short visit.

Good Luck on your relocation.

Like they say - "I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could."

Born and raised in NYC - schooled in upstate NY, spent 13 years in SoCal. Lived in Texas twice with 5 years in South Louisiana in between. Traveled a lot of the world in the oilfield, lived in India for a while. Never found a better place than here.

Give us a little notice so we can open the gate for you. We try to be careful who let in, and who we kick out.

Born, and raised here, and i am going to do everything i can to stay here. I work with a lot of "out-of-towners" and they really like it here as well, minus the heat. Im like... what heat?

Dont worry, not too long from now you'll start saying "howdy" it rubs off on yah

My last living Uncle lives in Holland Texas. I will visit him, as soon as things get better in Nov.

Holland sounds like a nice place to move.

I lived in Texas for 10 years, however I had to take a new job here in Las Vegas or Northern Mexico . One of these days I am moving back to North Carolina where you are treated like a friend by those who do not know you.

My Grandma on my Daddy's side of the family like to say, "Texas is a nice place to be...

from."

She was a really neat lady, with a very dry sense of humor. And she was from Texas.

Born, bred, baked and boiled in North Texas. I like it too much to leave, however, if I was to go.. this place has lots of "Open Range"....

Close Range?

Does the next sign say Close Range?

Like the old joke about Dumb and Dumber took 3 years to drive across the country cause whenever they saw "Clean Restrooms" they stopped and did.
