Texas badge?

Do we need to get our own little TEXAS owners badge?
I bet somebody could come up with something. I would think that we would need to apply them in the same location. I will get something to get it started.

OK, um, let me guess - it will be shaped like the state of Texas?

Ok, I'm teasing, but rest assured the rest of the nation has noticed the Texan affinity for silhouettes of the Great State of Texas.

Of course, a silhouette of the state of Colorado looks, well, kinda square. (So we use mountain shapes instead.)

Outside of a Coca Cola bottle and a '57 Chevrolet the State of Texas is the most recognized shape of things worldwide!!!!

I do lke the idea of having individual state badges. I bet there is something already out on the market.

Texas Badges

Found a site called Chrome Automobile Emblem that makes a chrome plated Texas shape emblem. Made in the USA.

I saw that site too, but I was thinking something along the lines of a 3/4 by 1 inch emblem you could put on the side of your vehicle, kind of like the GM badge, but not. And if you found a dealer in such things, they would have the state flag for whomever wanted one.

state outline

slight diversion from the topic....would have been directly applicable if I had seen this thread earlier...

When I was visiting Austin a few months ago (I think it's my favorite city in the world!), I noticed down near 6th Street there is a section of the city where the pavement is made up of interlocking pavers each of which are formed in the shape of the state! I was really intrigued by the design. Thinking about it now, I can't quite figure out how they did it, but I sure liked it....

I think the simplicity of this design is kinda smart!

They might be pretty cool as those Domed Decals with 3m tape on the back.

Don't know how much it would cost to have made up.

Be great if we could have them engraved, but some of the SSR logo decals in the right size would work - the "Dome Decals" would be great to add some "texture".

Just buy the Shape of Texas Emblem and add the SSR Logo Domed Decal!
