There are actually at least three Texas groups - Houston, Dallas and Austin/San Antonio. Where are you at??

I believe that he is in East Texas near the Marshall area. I think he is abroad at the moment. We conversed briefly before he left.

I sure have seen a lot of SSRs in the Austin area lately. Is there something I should know about?

I'm a native Houstonian - Northside kid - parents owned a business years ago at Kirby and Bissonett.

I have worked for the major EPC firms in the Houston Area and have travelled worldwide.

We pulled out of Houston in February 2000 due to project assignments requiring travel in the US and we set up our homebase in Panola County.

Current assignment is with Fluor Arabia Ltd after 5 months in London.

We'll be cruisn in August and November when I come home for some R&R.

May get to have the pleasure of meeting some of you then if there are any organized events.

:et us know also about anything that happens up your way in the fall. We want to be included also. I would be glad to help with any plans all of you might have.
We are going to try and make the Phoenix show in middle November that CR1Trob mentioned for Vettes and SSR's.

Ok, sounds like a winning idea!! Now someone just needs to start working on it - I'll be glad to help out - Just to throw this out - 1st weekend in November is opening weekend of deer season AND the 2nd NASCAR race at TMS. In other words not a good weekend for an SSR trip -

That is why I was thinking we should move the trip to the weekend of Oct. 20, 21 and 22. Maybe some of us could even leave early and go on the 19th.

How does that grab you?

Those dates in October sound fine since we are going to do the Phoenix run in middle November. I am also willing to help work on planning.
