Texas Renaissance Festival
The folks at the Longhorn Hot Rod Run expressed an interest in heading for the Texas Renaissance Festival this season. Their website says the venue suffered minimal damage and that opening weekend is still October 11th.
Checking some schedules of some Fanatics - the best weekends (either Saturday or Sunday) seem to be:
Oct 25, 26
Nov 1, 2
Nov 15, 16
Nov 29, 30 (Thanksgiving weekend)
If you're interested in going - please respond with your date preference and we'll try to pick a day that fits the most schedules. I'll post this up as a blast email to the South Texas group as well.

I could make the 11th... after that I have too much going on, not to mention the following Friday I am having foot surgery on a hammer toe, and won't feel like walking around much the following weekend.
I told my wife I was thinking about going to the Renaisance festival down that-aways.

My dad used to call me a hammer -head. Is that close to a hammer-toe? Caused by the same thing???

Pfisterlevel (John), so I am thinking of heading down that way on the 10th so I can be at the front gates on the 11th. Does anyone else have time to go on the 11th?

Sorry - got to be in LA -
Anybody else want to go on another date? - see the top post for suggestions. Didn't list the 10th 'cause we couldn't make it and didn't list the 18th 'cause pfisterlevel couldn't make it.
Since Jrgden voted for November 29th - let's settle on that. Anybody else in??
