I'll believe the ice when I actually see it! The forcasters have a tendency to over state what is really going to happen. They have to make some news on a slow news day. I'll be up at 4:30 to check it out, want me to call you and let you know what it's like over here?

Well it's 7 am and no ice in the Dallas area yet. If it does hit, it should be gone by evening as we will be above freezing by noon and the rain is supposed to move out shortly thereafter. Roads are all clear on this side of town.

Iowa set some record cold temps

Waterloo set a record low of minus 26.
Clinton had the coldest wind chill at minus 43 at 6 a.m.

Today in Jersey, we are headed up to 32....

It seemed to be a little humid. Warmer than I thought it should be. Not much sun, about 5%. Visited Rusty's Woodcraft store in S/W Houston. Left another wad of money.
