City of Euless Parks and Community Services Department. On
December 2nd will be hosting our 13th annual Christmas Parade of Lights and would love to have you as a part of our event.
This event is where Euless invites Church Youth Groups, Boy & Girls Scout
Groups, High School & College Service Organizations, High School Bands, Classic Car Groups, Horse Mounted Groups, etc* to participate in this auspicious event.
Each float will have lights attached to their unit which help to make
this a truly spectacular and special event. The best part of this is
that it is absolutely free to all participants.
So if anyone is interested, lets make plans now it's below 100, it must be almost Christmas.
Is this a night time parade? When we did The Colony Parade last Dec. Jan and Bob had a great idea, they bought tons of stuffed animals from Dollar Tree and threw them out to the kids. Much softer than candy and better on your teeth We could buy bulk from them or Oriental Trading too
I have been in our local lighted parade for the last two years (with the SSR). By hooking up an inverter to your vehicle, you can run lots of standard Christmas lights.
I have a 400W inverter and have no problem carrying 10 stands of lights.
That may be the same weekend as our parade. I'll have to check.

Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave, and impossible to forget.
OMG Where the heck did that come from? You better just back up a bit and re read some other posts. We all go to Decatur for events. We have asked other members to set up events in their area and so far that has been Waynes world, Woohoo and myself so if you feel so left out then go right ahead and plan an event
Bringing this back up, I already have other committments for this night but there are a number of New Members that might be interested in this. You could meet up to decorate and have lunch earlier in the day Bob are you still setting this up?

Some of us are more willing to do the work of planning and coordinating these get togethers. I, for one, would be glad to have someone else do one. I can't go to all the events because I do have family obligations, but I try to make as many as possible. So go for it. Plan one and see who comes. That's what I do.

Nopt sure what your point is here, other then to spread discord.
We have done other things in other parts of town, but we usually like people to speak up ahead of time with a helpful suggestion.

This is so true. While we have not done so in awhile we have been known to meet for breakfast in different areas as well. (thus weekend is out for me)
Thanks, HRG. I think my blood pressure just went down 20 points... Oh yes, I am interested in attending the parade, just have to check with the "BOSS".
