Okay - had a request for a run to the Winnie Trade days (by way of Galveston, Bolivar and High Island) in January. Dates (weekend) are Jan 12 and 13th - I'd suggest the 12th (Saturday), but would be okay with Sunday - who's in and what day do you prefer??

I'd be interested in the 12th.

Saturday the 12th is good for me too! Count me in. This run was really fun last year and the food was great also!

If you want something done, give it to a busy person.

This is a good first run for the newbies and a great chance to get to know everyone. It's a relatively short run , so you can still do something later that night. Let's get back into the spirit of driving these SSRs as much as we can.
And Oh Yeah, by the way, I'm keeping mine! It is no longer for sale. Don't ever let me try to sell it again!

Count on Yellow Fever we are ready to run. That is if the new speedo arrives or we can just sit in the rocking chair and trust your speed.

Been leading for a while now with the prime nightmare - a string of SSR's all pulled over at once by John Law. Hasn't happened yet..

Last year we did the trip through Galveston and onto the ferry at Boliver, then cut over to Winnie. It was a nice little run and we ate at a Cracker Barrel just outside of Winnie. I beleive that's the trip we will be doing this time, but I will let Houtex confirm the route.

Pfisterlevel's right - to Galveston - ferry to Bolivar - than over to Winnie via High Island. In the first post on this thread. If y'all want to PM me your cell phones, I'll call everybody when we clear the ferry in Bolivar. Pretty cool sight - all those SSR's on the ferry.
