Since we planned on meeting the other folks at Al-T's - I assumed we'd eat there before heading over to the Trade Days.

I will get a table if we get thare first. anybody have a count? JustaBlur and I may go together so the four of us should be able to hald a table.

Better if we could call ahead for reservation and give them some kind of warning of a party of 20 or so.

Okay - here's some final info:

Here's who we have showing up at DFR and Al-T's
Houtex (3)
Pfisterlevel (1)
Phoenix/Nelson (2)
HOT-SSR (2)
Skip2004 (2)
Yellow Fever (2)
JustaBlur (2)
Randelg (2)
William (2)
gmpartsguy (1)

Here's who will meet us at Al-T's

HotDog (2)
Bronco (2)
ZainoSSR (4)

It looked like Jgrden might be going - from his last post - let us know.

Bad news and good news about Al-T's. They don't take reservations on Trade Days weekends. However - one of the early arrivals can get us in line -we'll call Don (Zainossr) when we hit the Bolivar side - that should give us about another 35-45 minutes before arrival.

There are ferries at 9:45, 10:00 and 10:20 and the transit time is about 20 minutes or so. If we have everybody at DFR by 9:00 AM, we'll pull out then.

PLEASE let us know whether the list above is right, 'cause we'll wait a while if you haven't shown yet. We'd be better off making the early ferry - 'cause Al-T's is gonna get busy. (but it's worth it).

My cell is 713 206-9626 - if you run into a snag.

Don't forget the radios (if you have them).

Just a word to the wise. Since the TSA has gotten involved, all vehicles are "subject" to search on the Bolivar Ferry. Don't know what that means in terms of how many are actually getting searched, but thought I'd pass it on.

Closer to 11:00 - but we'll call y'all from the ferry.

Question again - JustaBlur indicated they were meeting us at DFR - has that changed?

From what I can gather from the news casts, it is going to rain on our parade Saturday. I won't make the drive in the rain. Hope to get to come.
