Visited with Badblackssr (Howard)
I saw where Howard was having hip replacement surgery and wasn't going to be able to make the Rally. Debbie and I made it down to Florida today and stopped in at the hospital to see him. He had the surgery yesterday and they had him up and walking. He is doing really well and will get out this Monday. He still won't be able to make the rally, but he will definately be watching to see how everything goes.
We're going to visit sometime after he gets home and settled in, so I'll keep you updated.

Itinerary for Orlando Rally
Here is the itinerary for the weekend. Copies of this will be available to everyone when you check in at the hotel, together with maps and directions to the different venues.
Friday February 26th
6:30 pm: Meet at SERALAGO HOTEL, 5678 Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL 34746 (parking lot by reserved rooms) for drive to OLD TOWN.
7:00 pm: Depart SERALAGO HOTEL for short drive to OLD TOWN for Friday Night Cruise Night.
9:00 pm: Participate in the Cruise.
9:30 pm: Immediately after the cruise, drive back to SERALAGO HOTEL to collect any more Fanatics. Drive to BJ’s RESTAURANT, 2421 W Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34741 for evening meal (approx 8 miles).
Later: Return to SERALAGO HOTEL.
Saturday February 27th
Very early am: Balloon Rides or Hang Gliding – participants depart SERALAGO HOTEL to go to pick up point for this venue. See Mike Carr for full details.
10:00 am: Assemble in Hotel parking lot for cruise for FOREVER FLORIDA (45 miles).
10:30 am: We will be leaving promptly for FOREVER FLORIDA.
11.30 am: Arrive at FOREVER FLORIDA. Lunch. Optional participation in one of the Eco Safaris - either the Zipline Safari, Coach Safari or Horseback Safari (advance direct booking required).
Time TBD: Depart FOREVER FLORIDA for drive back to SERALAGO HOTEL.
6.30 pm: SSR Fanatics get together in Hotel Vineyard Cafe area for evening of food, drinks and fun!
7:00 pm: Meal served (for those who have prepaid). We have the Café booked until 11:00pm but the bar will be open until later.
Sunday February 28th
11:00 am: Hotel check-out time – leave for drive home or if you want to extend the fun, here are some suggestions for Sunday activities:

Old Town is a 2 minute drive next door to the Hotel, any Fanatic who is interested please post on this site so we have an idea of numbers.
If you attended last year remember to bring your cruiser tag as this speeds up registration and makes you eligible for prizes

Friday night Cruise at Old Town
No pre registration required, we are assembling at the Hotel and leaving at 7pm for the short drive to Old Town. Cruisers will be 'registered' upon arrival and given a number which could make you eligible for a prize. We will be given a dedicated parking area so we can park as a group.
The Cruise starts at 9pm where we all cruise the brick streets of Old Town, the plan is to drive to BJ's restaurant immediately following the Cruise. Any Fanatic that has been to Old Town before should have a Cruiser card, (Cruisermatic) this makes you eligible for other giveaways, so please remember to bring this with you. A random drawing is carried out and if you are given a checkered flag during the Cruise return to the stage after the Cruise to receive cash, case of Valvoline oil and other stuff.

Orlando Rally Friday night Old Town
We have an opportunity to try something different, we are going to attempt to organise the cars in color blocks so all red, yellow etc cruise to Old Town together. I know this means breaking up friendships but its only for a short while !So when we assemble at the Hotel prior to the cruise please bear this in mind, as you will all be following me, sorry but blacks lead.
We also have the opportunity to try this in the parking lot of the Hotel on Saturday morning for a group shot, pictures can be taken from the second floor level of the Hotel.
