Driving the Speedway
Wait until you see what the Rally Organizers have for you!
For your convenience we decided to put together a package that includes:
Your entrance to the speedway (SSRs only, sorry no rental cars or other vehicles)
A personalized certificate of completing those laps,
“I Drove Daytona” t-shirt (available only to those driving the laps)
Dash plaque
Window decal
And we have secured the services of an up and coming local sports photographer. He will be shooting our SSRs as we race across the finish line, group shots rounding turns, line-ups down pit road, etc. Many of these shots we could not normally get because we are in the SSRs. Included in the package will be a DVD with all the shots taken, mailed out after the rally.
We tried to get the things that most people want and put them together in a single package. One order form, one check convenience. For just $89.00 you will get everything in the package.
Watch this thread for further information and ordering instructions. We are in the final stages of t-shirt and printed item design. They will be up shortly.

I have not left out the copilots. Extra shirts will be available for them too. Since they will be commemorative we are only making them available to those that drive the track. More details later.
That is the plan. I figure it is a three day run from here and I can take my time getting back home. Maybe spend some time at the almost Happiest Place on Earth along the way.

OK, I got my reservations at the Hampton Inn and other stops on the way there, Now I need to know where do I get the Registration form and send my fee?

Gary & Linda -No problem
Friday & Sunday are MEET and GREET (Fanatics) days and also used for travel from home to the Hotel in Daytona.
Friday nite there will be a group dinner & Sunday there will be a group breakfast, Sunday is also left open to do as you please with other Fanatics.
Saturday is the day full of events, to include the following:
Breakfast
The CRUISE starting at 10 am
Lunch
more cruising and Photo shoots with lots of SSRs
The RUN on Daytona - Today the total is 75 SSRs - that is a bunch of SSRs
The Dinner BANQUET with awards, prizes, drawing for the banners and a guest speaker, etc. (est total 180-200 Fanatics)
Stay tuned for more info to come and make your decision as to how much SSR Fanaticism you can handle. You are certainly invited to come and enjoy the total events with us. The Rally is about the SSR Family and the Run on Daytona with all of the trimings.
