My SSR: 04 Redline w/Lambo Doors ++, and 2005 Bk 6-Speed
FYI-- Some coming to Daytona have expressed their interest in a true race car experience.
I am posting this for those who wish (in addition) to ride and/or drive a International Speedway Equiped true race car- very, very FAST.
(Altho our SSRs may be so equipped, they have not been officially equipped and tested by the Speedway to go these speeds).

Mike: Not sure if this is where I should post this, but was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Convoy from the Pt Charlotte, Venice, Sarasota, Tampa area to the Daytona Beach get together. Know it's kinda early but thought I would ask. Phil

BTW -For the Banquet --I Just checked with Millers Daytona Ale House's construction expansion, yesterday -- looking real Good and the expansion should be open by Tuesday next week - we will filling it up very soon with our Banquet
ALSO: We have finializing the last detail of the Special Individual Photo Shoot with your SSR at the Beach ..... there will be No Sand and thusly No Salt -as good as it can get..... you will get the special photo and you don't have to drive on the beach!!

I was told by the contact person at the track "If you have to ask, the answer is probably No"
That being said we may be able to arrange some sort of group shot inside the track.

For our large number of SSRs,we have permission to use the very large paved beach oceanfront vacant lot next door to The Bermuda House Motel for our individual photo shoot pictures.(See sample below)
A special thanks to Craig Foreman, General Manager, The Bermuda House and
to Rick D'Louhy, Event Director, DaytonaBeachDreamCruise.com for their assistance with this photo opportunity.
I have used my Daytona Dream Cruise Picture as sample, but the setup will be different --we will have the beach and ocean as a background -- we will be on the paved area - thusly no salt -- your SSR and the Ocean - without having to drive on the beach.
This Photo opportunity will take place during the first leg of The Rally Cruise about 10:30- 11 AM Saturday the 24th, so don't be late or you will miss out! You will like what we have planned.. This just a sample pic but yours will be simular(click pic to enlarge)
Bad news, Paco and I will not be able to attend the Rally. She has a hole in the macula (the lining on the inside back of the eye) in her left eye. One surgery to remove a cataract is scheduled for Feb.15 and the surgery to repair the hole in the macula is scheduled for March 15.
Good news, the success rate for this type of eye surgery is 95%+, and the doctor expects some vision improvement. As it stands now, she has lost the center vision in the left eye.

Well I guess that will force us to just have to stop by Picayune, MS and see you two.
Please take care your vision it is very important- we understand the eye surgery personally - not to be taken lightly.
