4th Annual Panhandle Rally Pix thread

Have some pix of yesterdays tuning activities by Jeremy Formato. We managed to have four "R"s street tuned by Jeremy and one dyno tuned that evening.

Scene at Ed's house

Pix from the dyno

Some of Penelopes numbers....did 5 runs (pulls)

Penelope has an LS6 cam, double row TC, titanium pushrods, behive springs, headers, MTI shotgun exhaust, bulletproofed tranny, MMC driveshaft, and 2800 Yank converter.

Baseline run was 280HP, 272torque @ 5800rpm in second gear.
Suceeding runs improved air/fuel mixture, timing (and some tweeks which were Greek to me).

5th run produced 315HP, 312 torque @ 6500 rpm running 3rd gear. His tuning produced a 35 HP increase and torque improvement of 40. This truck runs like a raped ape.

A road run made my eyes bugout....Jeremy did what he called fuel mapping....minor tweeks which optimize performance at varing Rpm's.

Anyway...the road run at WOT starting in 4th gear produced a shift from second to third at 5200 rpm and a shift into 4th at 6500 on the tach, but Jeremy said it was 6200 on his laptop. Needless to say I don't want to say how fast we were going then.......but no traffic was visible in the mirrors.
If your serious about performance.... a dyno is the way, the only way, to do it, and Jeremy's talents are priceless!!

Ed, thanks for the pictures!
Wish we could have made the trip.

How do you like the tune??? Did it do what you wanted/expected?

Keep the pictures coming as the fun continues!
