Thanks Judi-
We welcome you to Florida and the Paddle Boat/Dinner event-
The question about racing is up to you - but NSB is one of the so called shorter tracks - and it is more of give and let go of the gas (altho in a powerful 500HP 2600lb racer) - rather than putting it to the floor all out - you will, if you decide to race have an instructor sitting in the racer with you. I think you can get a real feel of the track and racing without killing oneself. One of the harder parts of racing is getting in and out of the racer (there are no doors).. But, You can race at your speed (any speed)at NSB. Look on u-tube there are some viedos (some good and some poor) to give you a better idea--I will try to locate a couple of good ones and attempt to post.
See you in March
Mike. I am still kicking around the idea of doing the laps on the track. I will decide soon.
My SSR: 05 AUTO SMKN ASPHALT(DOES NOT WANT TO GO HOME)
international speedway
Some time before the international speedway in lakeland fl closed down ...i had to pleasure of driving 35 laps ....similar track that we will be on....while the speeds are not high...the technique of driving the corners and accelerating out of the corners gives you a real appreciation for what the nascar guys do at bristol and richmond.....highly recommend those who are hesitating to go for it....you will not regret it...chuckstr

Hello. The speedway is reserved for 10 AM and 1 PM. The Paddlewheel dinner cruise is the same evening from 7 PM to 1130 PM. I believe these are the correct times I am sure Mike will follow up.
