We are going to have a Super Get Together (Rally) and a GREAT PARTY on the PaddleWheeler, etc. etc.

If the Hampton Inn and Suites - Lake Mary (our Host Hotel) is out of regular rooms they might have suites available for a little more - but it seems we have come very close to booking all of their rooms (?) I will be giving Leeza a call Friday, to see if we can squeeze a few more rooms. Recomend if you haven't booked your (SSR Fanatic) room - that you should do so now.-- And reserve your space on the PaddleBoat for the Diner/Cruise if you have not done so yet.

Also I noticed this was your first post and your SSR Fanatic avatar is dated Jan 2013 - So I would like to be the first to welcome you to the forum. You will enjoy, learn more about your SSR and love the Fanatics. Don't misunderstand us we will not be trying to spend your dollars, we will educate you from what we have already learned about the SSR.

We will be leaving (our Host Hotel) The Hampton Inn/Lk Mary - at 9:00am Sat Mar 9 to enjoy our CRUISE to NSB via Hwys 46-A and Hwy 415

We will stop at the Speedway and watch & enjoy me and the other Fanatics make a fool of them selfselves (Racing NASCAR) we will continue on to NSB on Hwy 44 at about 11:30am - to return later. If you miss us at the Hotel you can catch up with us at the Speedway(Hwys 44 & 415)

Mike, what is the ride a long, I want to be involved but not sure, I'll definitely be a cheerleader in the stands for our Fanatics, does this include the caravan of all the SSR or is this race car thing. Pardon my stupidity but I had to ask. My first time rally.

The Race with Rusty Racing Experience is a first with me also -
I have signed up to be a driver - During the Racing there are from 6 to 8 NASCAR racing cars on the tract at a time and they may race or speed arround each other for about 8 of the 10 laps. You may drive as fast as you want with the only restriction being the tract size. These are the real NASCAR racing vehicles, they have no doors, plastic instead of glass front and back windows, you will have to wear the racing (fire) suit & helmet, the side window access has a web harness, racing seat harness, etc.

As I understand it - in the ride-a-long all the above apply except that a professional will be driving.

Best to call or check their web page "Race with Rusty Experience" Office -- For reservations and detail information. This Offer (Our Special Bargin Price )is/was limited -in Time, Space, Hours Available -- I had locked-in times starting a 10am and 1pm (at the special prices) I would call them for more details.(Don't forget to tell them you are with the SSR Fanatic Group)

We will being doing the Caravan/Cruise to NSB whether or not you or others desire to participate in the racing. Our rules are No rules --Just more Fun to Do It Together

Scott -- While we are Socializing Friday afternoon & evening greeting the arrivals at the Hampton Inn -- we will discuse the Dinner options.

There are many resturants near the Hotel - I'm thinking maybe a Irish Pub Type?

The weather this coming weekend March 1 & 2 is going to be a little chilly -- BUT the weatherman has told me the weather is going to Warm Up for the Rally March 8, 9 & 10th and we will have a Great Top Down Event

During the CRUISE to New Smyrna Beach

We will be travel (East) over the South Causeway on the right with a Hard Left turn (north) on A-1-A to Flagler Blvd then (West) the North Causeway to Canel St. downtown NSB then return to Speedway on Hwy 44

Lunch stop will be available before the beachside part of the tour, because there is very little parking available for all of usbeachside

Maps will be available at the Hotel desk (Hampton Inn, Lake Mary) for:
1. Backroad Trip to the Racetrack including the ROAD CRUISE
2. & Directions (Map) to the Paddle Wheeler (DINNER/CRUISE/PARTY)

We were really looking forward to seeing everybody once more and the weather is supposed to be in the mid 70's and beautiful. Gary
