Last year there were 825 Cars at the Show, down because of rain. They normally have over 1000.
GREAT IDEA- We have checked into Springs FL Residents & Seniors have a special yearly low costs pass for all events & parking - We will most likely go - will let you knnw
would like to get more info on this. Already interested love s.s. There is a Days Inn across the street rooms go for about $50.00 not bad. The weather will be real nice then.
Not really - Ocala has some motel rates for a good price (almost cheap)-Go early and party -we will do the same. We have been trying to get to Ocala and maybe purchase something small in the forrest - just for a weekend get away - some of or friends have done so and go there for the weekend for SilverSprings, rides, the concerts (Willy Nelson, Big Corvette Show, Bands, etc.) Again as I said before, all free (incl parking) for a Yearly Pass (so, I have been told). We would already know -but someone got us hooked up with the FL SSR Fanatics, and Marilyn and I have been way too busy since - MV,etc.etc. But, I'll bet my $$, the Fanatics can show those people how to have a good time. So you can bet we will be there!! MIKE

Hey Fanatics - There is also a NPD cruise friday with the Show in Siler Springs-ck the NationalPartsDepot web site - the cruise is from NPD (Ocala) with their car collection of 140 cars to be seen cruising to Ceder Key via the Ocala horse farm county roads 1.5 hr to --&1.5 hr back (eat -shop,etc. Ceder Key) returning to 140 car collection or Dyno Run your ssr ---sounds like FUN to me - I LUV Cruising and even more with my fellow SSR Fanatic friends--I will check with our "El Presidente"(Dick Bellville) and I'm sure he will LEAD us down the FUN Fanatic road. Cool Im in also like the idea of no black top parking lot. Can't take the glass bottom boat ride I'd most likely fall through the glass.. Maybe showing up with a whole new look maybe.
My registration is going in TODAY - also I"m going to do the Friday Cruise - will be staying in Ocala Thursday and Friday and ? Sat Nights- I'm Checking room rates now and will let you know what I find ------Mike in Orlando
You are right, It is Florida and it will rain.
It didn't rain until 4:30pm last year, so the day was perfect. And then it only rained for about 15min.
We all stoped in Ocala for dinner and it was a very pleasant day.
