August 7 St. Pete Pier Show, BBQ ‘ROLL CALL’ Please

Just under 2 weeks before the 1st SSR ONLY car show, BBQ & Swap meet

As you know, Eileen & I are hosting the Saturday Night BBQ here @ the St. Petersburg KOA Kampground

The BBQ & Swap Meet are open to ALL SSR OWNERS who are in the area to participate in the weekend. The more the merrier!!!

I am working on the BBQ Food purchases & need to get a handle on approximately how many people we can expect to be attending.

At this point, we have 12 ‘confirmed’ couples (24 people) staying at the Kampground, plus Dicktator, Alex, Jeff , the vendors, myself, etc.

There are 40+ ‘SSRs’ (80 people) signed up for the Pier Show, so I assume there will be more attending the BBQ & Swap Meet.

Would anyone planning on coming to the BBQ, including the 'Car Show participants', 'day trippers', etc., please post or send me a ‘PM’ so I can estimate my food, etc purchases.

PS: We do have ONE (1) Lodge still available for anyone interested

Damon: Sharlene and I will be at all of the festivities. However we will be staying Thur. through Sunday with our daughter in Lakewood Ranch. I have the addresses of all the places to be. What we really need is times. We are really looking forward to the "show". We are clean, but not show quality. But we will be enthusiastic participants.....docrod

I'll be there but unfortunately my wife can't make it. Can't get off work at this point. But if that changes I will let you know. I will be happy to eat some of your barbeque. Looking forward to meeting everyone !!!!

It's a bit of a small difference between a "car" and a "TRUCK show..."

Jeff and Terri who are staying at our house that weekend (of the TRUCK SHOW) will also be at the BBQ on Saturday night. It's Jeffs' birthday Friday.

Damon, just wondering the night of the barbacue do we have to bring food or are you suppling the food and we have to reinburse you. Thanks Louie

We will be supplying the hamburgers, hot dogs, side dishes & sodas.

Only thing that you would need to bring is beer, wine or alcohol/mixes if you prefer.

We have beer & wine for sale in our kampstore or Publix & Winn Dixie are reasonably close.

Anyone wanting to bring desserts would also be acceptable

The BBQ will start @ 7pm to give everyone a chance to get back from the Pier & kick back for a while in the pool, spa, etc.

The swap meet & BBQ will be at the same location, our air conditioned recreation Hall
