Central Florida Hood & Deck Lid Strut install party
Hey Florida SSR's see below, "Support Teck" out of Canada may be willing to make a trip to the Central Florida Area to install Hood & Bed strut lift kits. If anyone is interested please post and we can get a head count started to see if there are enough of us for them to make the trip. See the Maggie Valley post, they are doing one there.
(Mr T,
Let me know how many Trucks that you can muster up to help make this Proposed Strut Install Party a Reality. We do come to Florida from time to time, and this would give us another excuse to make the effort. We have been to several SSR Events over time, Missouri, Maggie Valley. Texas, Colorado, Durango, plus this year Flagstaff, so anything is possible.
Regards,
Stephen)
Dictator,
I would be interested in a tech day for 2 reasons-
1) Go to the Tech Forum and see my post re: radio problem. Briefly no volume. Rebooted (car on/off, radio on/off, top up/down) with no results. Now the alarm dings are exceeding the usual 4/5 to now 10/12. Any issues related to ignitiion switch and radio issues that you are aware of? I have a new switch but a tech day would be great to assure good installation
2) My trunk lid opens about 1/4", wife can hardly lift, I use manly stuff to open. Anyhow I would like new lid lifts - probably front and back. Are yours black or chrome?
Tech day would be great.

GREAT meeting everyone at the Titusville Drive-In yesterday. Lookng forward to a tech day.
1. Install radiator support
2. Install frame cross-member support.
3. Install Hood lifts for 03
Mike Fontana (Titusville area) has offered his place for a Tech Day, 50 foot air conditioned garage, and Joer has a lift at his place, just down the street. I am sure he would let us use his lift. That would make radiator support and frame brace easier to install.
I need to start a thread as to who would be interested and what would they want done.
REMEMBER, YOU WORK ON YOUR SSR! We help with instructions, etc. Those that are physically unable to work on their R, not a problem, but you can watch and hand us tools.
