My SSR: SSR gone but still Redline Red aka TORCH RED!!!!!!
Very nice A few questions:
-how much for the new cluster face??
-are there options for the color of the numbers?? Yours look nice!!
-do they offer it with KM version
-how much time to replace?????
Can I ask.. why did you go to the white... the reason I ask is Dad is having trouble seeing the gauges.. too dark... was thinking we needed to get light on .. but maybe the white would brighten it up...??? Does it?

The white would definitely help, LT.
My Yellow Cluster Face is so much easier on the eyes. Not only looks great but notice the replacement faces only have MPH so they are much less busy.

Doug, if you are going to do the installations I may join the Flagstaff meeting. I cannot read the black and need the yellow back ground. Now I know I am not as good looking as Sandy, but would a 6 pac help sweeten the pot?

LT, I picked white because my car is silver/black and the dash is black the seats are black and the cluster was black.
I find it easier to see, when you get OLD you will understand.
I really did it for contrast and notice the lights are still green.

To remove your old adhesive, clean the plastic streak free and do the face instsll, get the needles in the correct position and complete the job, I would say it takes at least two hours. I did it without disconnecting the air bag but this gives you a limited space to work with resulting in some difficulty in removing the plug for example. I installed my needles while the cluster was in the dash at an angle which was a bit difficult to get the needles installed where you want them so I had to remove all a few times to meet the diagram that I had sketched (a template was not provided per the installation instructions) In order to do this, I started the engine to have the needles r-zero rather then just turning the key on and off. I only pressed the needles on lightly so they could be removed without the tool which worked well. I really like the look of the yellow face

That is a VERY fair price. Lot of work.
I understand that the stepper motors are sensitive, that being the case, I don't think we want to do this on Tech Day. At least not until I can confirm that we could or could not break them. Don't want to be responsible for breaking anything.
