Fay has been a bust in the Lakeland area soooo far, less then a 1/2" of rain light winds..bring on the SSr's to make the town more exciting...

I called Chick this morning and they arrived yesterday without any problems.

They are out looking at real estate.

I told him to "Pick out the dry ones".

They are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, so, lets roll out our Florida Welcome for Chick and Jan.

We are meeting at Freds Southern Kitchen about 5pm

Doug (lakelandSSR) had got us a room at Fred's for dinner at 5pm, but they called him and said they had made a mistake and would not have the room for us. Which means we would be spread out among the crowd or we could go else where.

Doug said there are several places close by if we decide to go elsewhere.

Had a great time. Saw the gang, welcomed Chick and Jan to Florida (and put the Florida State troopers on alert

), and met some new members of the Florida gang - Al & Kathy, Doug & Vicky and Miss Diane (who sold my Merc to somebody else

).
